Note: Remember to assemble the antenna before powering on to avoid damaging the PA chip. Also, don't use a 3S or higher battery through the XT30 port to prevent damaging the power supply chip.
About the firmware
The ExpressLRS official project on Github doesn't support the OLED function yet. The BETAFPV team is working hard with the ELRS team to get official support for OLED and button functions soon. For now, get the firmware from BETAFPV Github. In the BETAFPV branch, the ExpressLRS protocol is V1.1.0 with no binding phrase.
NOTE: There are 2 known issues with this firmware currently. We'll fix them ASAP. If you find other issues, let us know.
- Joystick Function Limitation: Only pressing function is supported for the joystick.
- OLED Menu Connection Issue: Long pressing to enter OLED menus may cause the RF TX module to lose connection with the receiver, but it reconnects automatically after exiting the menus.
You can use the ELRS official firmware V2.0 - RC2 now, but you'll lose OLED and joystick functions. We're working with the ELRS dev team to make the official firmware support all functions of the Micro TX Module. OLED will be officially supported in V2.1.
